"This is luxury personified. Stunning views, wonderful rooms with the option to stay in bespoke accommodation. Such as a private pool or hot tub options. There is simply no better view on the Helshgoote Pass. Staff were extremely helpful with nice touches to enhance guests stay throughout. "The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . EXCELLENT STAY!!!

"This was a great hotel experience. Everything from the front desk reception to the comfort of the bed was wonderful. I love the modern decor of the hotel. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. There was no outside noise from the city. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect, but I have only two complaints: 1) the hotel does not provide wash cloths or face towels in the rooms. They only provided bath towels and hand towels. I had to call and request the face towels, but housekeeping brought them immediately. 2) The bath towels were full of lint, which left dust all over the bathroom and lint all over my body. See pictures of the dust in the bathroom."
