"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. "We stayed in one of the Forest cottage. We loved the grounds of the hotel and the gardens were so beautiful. We booked late and the only room available was one of the cottages. We found the decor to be very dated including the bathroom and it had no air con. The bathroom taps were very stiff. The pool area for these cottages felt like it needed updating/cleaned and the lounger covers on the chairs were in need of a clean and quite dirty. Overall we were quite disappointed with the accommodation....

" We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars.
