"Nice hotel, friendly staff. Tried the food at the restaurant and it wasn't great. Ordered a steak, asked for medium rare and was given a medium well. Tried the curry and it tasted like a microwaved meal but for £16. Property was looking quite tired but i suppose that's the charm. Wasnt bad overall."

"I cannot praise the staff enough, so helpful & informative. The guy on reception, I think his name was Paul, was amazing. We were visiting for Parkrun, which was a stones throw away from the hotel. The hotel offers free parking right outside for blue badge holders, which we weren’t expecting in London. Food was good, hotel room compact but comfy & lovely soft towels. Although there isn’t a TV - who really needs one ? Would highly recommend if you want to do Victoria Dock Parkrun. ❤️🏃‍♀️"

"Very convenient for the Excel centre, and interesting and quirky enough to offer an alternative to the more conventional hotels in the area. The room was big, with a separate seating area, the TV was small and in an awkward position to view from the bed, bathrooms are small and a bit dated though. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was free, but did keep disconnecting which was annoying. Breakfast was very good."
