There’s lots of levels to spread out in the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and places to go. We enjoyed Skyline Drive in Shenandoah State Park that was about an hour from the house. "

"This was an absolutely stunning house near Old Rag Mountain. The kitchen was gorgeous with high-end appliances, and the house was clean. Beautiful, open spaces and porch and screened-in porch as well. The owner was extremely helpful and and answered all my questions. Perfect for my family (2 kids and spouse). "We had an amazing weekend at John's farmhouse. The old farmhouse has so much character and the antiques were just wonderful. Watching the sunrise every morning come over the mountain was just amazing. If you are looking to get away to a place that's quiet, peaceful and tranquil then you need to stay at John's. The creek runs through the property and is a lovely walk. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay on this lovely farm! The cottage is authentic, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere."
