"If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National...

"Our family loved our weekend getaway in this home. It’s about 2 miles down a partially paved road, so you really feel like you’re away from everything, but you’re also close enough to attractions, restaurants, and shops for anything you want or need. The house is amazingly well-kept and well stocked. We hope to stay there again!"

Matt & Katie have the house set up nicely with good sleeping beds & plenty of toys & activities downstairs in the playroom for the kids to do. The TV in the downstairs room was a great asset for the family to hang out together & watch a movie. Matt was quick to reply to any of our needs & we would recommend their home for your mountain visit for sure! "

It had everything you needed for your stay, to include, paper towels, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, kitchen tools, family games, etc. Literally, all you need to bring are food and clothing. If you're traveling with a multi-generational group, this is the house for you. My husband and mom loved the shuffle board and connect four game Just book it!"

Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!"

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. "We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of room to spread out. The beds were mostly comfortable and the only issue we had was with how chilly the downstairs was without lighting the gas fireplace. However, the host quickly responded when we inquired about this and offered to have someone come light the pilot light, This house offers a lot for families and is priced reasonably. Would stay again. "
