"What I particularly liked and the primary reason I booked a stay at this B&B was the proximity to the village of Spridlington. A 3 mile country road walk to the church where some of My ancestors are buried. The bonus was how welcoming the hosts were providing a hardy breakfast each morning and friendly chats. The en suite room was very comfortable and quiet."

"Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning. We only had an overnight stay but would love to go back for a longer stay one day."

"Ideally located for seeing our family in the northern suburb but still walkable/ short bus ride to city centre. Off road parking and eating establishments nearby. Beautiful characterful house and very welcoming hosts"

"Great location for exploring south east Yorkshire. We stayed just one night on a trip to Spurn Point, but so enjoyed Paull Farm that we are thinking about when we could return, stay longer and explore further. The room was well equipped, comfortable and beautifully clean. The separate "DIY" breakfast room was a great facility allowing us to choose when to have breakfast and build ourselves an excellent continental style breakfast. Peaceful location, walks on the doorstep, super friendly hosts:...

"We had a night of absolute luxury in this recently restored house and garden. We were full of admiration for the achievements of the couple who own it and would love to visit again later to see the final steps, and to see the garden again as it grows and develops. "Very friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms really clean and well managed. Breakfast was very good and kids under 13 eat free. Bar and lounge areas are also very good. Great location on the Marina with easy walking access to the city centre or old town. Had a really relaxing stay and the place is also pet friendly which is ideal and also well managed. At this price point it’s absolutely spot on. "

Twistmas Stay at the IBIS

"Just booked a 'Twixtmas' break for my wife and I at the IBIS to recover from the 'demands' of Christmas. Three nights in the IBIS was very good with everything you could want from a budget hotel. Bed was comfy, no noise, good room service convenient for shops and pubs. After various cash back deals the 3 nights cost about £100 which was excellent value. Will be returning in the future."

Not the first time and I'm sure won't be the last!

"This is the second time to have stayed at this hotel. Bizarrely enough the last time I wasn't disabled 😁 This time sadly I am. However it didn't spoil the trip. Staff were great, room was clean and presentable. I didn't attempt the shower as the last time I tried a shower in my current style of spasticity I hit the floor. However I'm sure it would suit someone who is used to their disability... Food was lovely, but pricey but still good food. Thanks to the staff for a pleasant stay!"

Great stay, with friendly helpful staff.

"On arrival, the building looks like a run-down, disused office block, with a huge, almost empty, car park and no obvious reception entrance. However, once you find the entrance at the side and go in to reception, everything changes. From reception staff to chef, everyone was helpful, efficient and friendly. Our room on the top floor was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a lovely view across the golf course. Dinner was tasty and nicely served and breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a while. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we will definitely return. Don't let first appearances put you off!"
