We had to stay in Grimsby for a couple of nights. Chose Humber Royal after a recommendation and we weren’t disappointed. Deluxe Double was nice and roomy and massive comfy bed. Had a really well cooked and presented meal in the Brasserie- goo value

Friendly helpful staff with nice food and a welcoming atmosphere. However my room was very big and the heating was turned off in December. Turned it on but the radiator was not big enough to heat the room by bedtime. It was just about warm enough the next day. There was also some areas that weren’t that clean: cobwebs in corner on walls from top to bottom and lamps were dusty. There were no switches next to bed to turn lights out either. This all might have been just one room as rest of hotel was warm and clean. Finally tv remote was broken as was hairdryer. Receptionist kindly brought new batteries but back was also missing.

Clean and convenient. Very friendly staff. I will definitely go again. I didn’t like the mattress, uncomfortable. I tried 2 different rooms in my stat and both have poor quality uncomfortable mattresses.

Great hotel very accessible for our needs. The outside really lets the inside down as it’s amazing on the inside but looks very dated on the outside not wholly helped by the conference centre which looks in need of some TLC.

I loved the 1970s retro feel of the place , very comfortable with lots of space , staff were excellent and food was reasonable and excellent, even had a balcony facing the golf course , would absolutely staff again

I have stayed at the Humber Royal before and I would not hesitate to stay there again. The location is fantastic and convenient with ample parking. The rooms (I have stayed in) are large, clean and comfortable with great provisions: ensuite bathroom, storage, large tv, hairdryer, tea & coffee. The hotel and room are looking a little tired in places but on the whole I have to say the Humber Royal is excellent.
