"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. But there were a few issues that stopped it being 5*. The shower drain was blocked and quickly filled up. You have to put your own bedding on...

And to go outside tot the bathroom is a disadvantage.We lived mostly in the kitchen because of the very effective pelletstove. ""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". "Best location in the center of Zermatt. Very comfortable, we loved it so much. We will surely return. The apartment is small yet perfect for two and is well equipped. We can wven see the top of the Matterhorn from the kitchen window, bedroom and balcony. Wish i would own this small yet comfortable place."

"We are a family of 6 and stayed for 2 nights. Our flight got delayed so we arrived completely exhausted around 10:40 pm. The main door to the building was locked and owner was not responsive to our messages so we were terrified we would be on the street the whole night. I finally found an employee of another building whose boss thankfully had a key and let us in. Next issue we faced was the elevator was broken the entire time and the apartment is on the 4th floor. "Wir haben die Ferienwohnung im Parterre sehr genossen (keine anstrengende Kofferschlepperei!). Die etwas konservativ konzipierte Ferienwohnung mit den verschiedenen getrennten Zimmern hat auch Vorteile: Man kann jeden Raum separat beheizen und hat auch keine Küchenluft im Schlafbereich! Nähe zur Aletsch-Arena (Abfahrt) und zum Langlaufskigebiet Goms ist sehr vorteilhaft. Der Umgang mit der Vermieterin war vollkommen unkompliziert und sehr freundlich."

"The location is beautiful and the house comes stocked with almost everything you could need. However, there is no wifi even though it was on the listing. When we raised this issue with the manager, she simply claimed that there was wifi despite us saying that there was no box in the house and no network available. If you need wifi don't come here. This dishonesty coupled with a general rudeness of the manager were the only issues with an otherwise great stay."

"I had a studio (north) room. It is spacious and bathroom is modern. The room has a balcony with mountain view. Full kitchen. Not far from train station but in a quiet area. Breakfast is excellent. Indoor pool is also a plus. Like the place very much."

"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."
