"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. "We are a family of 6 and stayed for 2 nights. Our flight got delayed so we arrived completely exhausted around 10:40 pm. The main door to the building was locked and owner was not responsive to our messages so we were terrified we would be on the street the whole night. I finally found an employee of another building whose boss thankfully had a key and let us in. Next issue we faced was the elevator was broken the entire time and the apartment is on the 4th floor. "We had an amazing time up on the mountainside! It was quiet, there were walking trails and the host was efficient in communication. We were there in May and the weather was wonderful."

"The location is beautiful and the house comes stocked with almost everything you could need. However, there is no wifi even though it was on the listing. When we raised this issue with the manager, she simply claimed that there was wifi despite us saying that there was no box in the house and no network available. If you need wifi don't come here. This dishonesty coupled with a general rudeness of the manager were the only issues with an otherwise great stay."

"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

Nice alpine hotel

"Really nice and cozy alpine style hotel. Perfect location within a 3-min walk from the train station, ski bus, Gornergrat train, and the main street with all the shops and ski rental. Good breakfast selection, enough of healthy choices. Really enjoyed the sauna and hamam facilities, too."

"Hotel Alpenblick is super cozy! A 5 minute walk from the starting point to the journey towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. With a “mountain view” room you get an amazing look at the Matterhorn itself. Fabien at reception was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. He took us to the train station at 7:45 AM so we could make the Glacier Express. He was also very easy to talk to and made great conversation. Although we only stayed 1 night, it was still a fabulous place to stay. Their breakfast was also delicious and is typically included in your stay. Thank you, Hotel Alpenblick!"
