"The room was excellent with a surprising amount of space, clean and all the usual amenities you'd need. It was nice and quiet as it could be considering the adjacent road. Both dinner options in the pub and breakfast in the restaurant on the other side were delicious with plenty of choice. At every stage the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. "Ideal for an overnight stay in Chesterfield. Located close to the railway station, and within walking distance of the town, the hotel was clean, tidy and warm. The price was affordable and represented good value. I would definitely consider staying there again in future. Do be careful, though, when crossing the road at the nearby roundabout. Could’ve used blinds behind the curtains, as room was facing a road/parking lot (we had our curtains closed all the time, which made the room very dark).
