"Excellent! I traveled with my two teens and it was a perfect spot. Easy walk into Cruz Bay for dinner and shopping. Great staff. We rented our jeep from Gallows Point as well and it was easy! Wonderful vacation! Would highly recommend GP to anyone heading to STJ. "

"On second night, rented vehicle had the four tires stolen of the car. Learned only 2security guards on duty at night (4 was recommended) and no cameras for observation."

"Very special and sweet retreat. We had a lot of fun. The teahouse itself is so well crafted! we loved the view, outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen. We made dinner 5 out of 7 evenings and had breakfast several days. First visit to St. John, was not prepared for the drive up the hill to the property. We got use to it quickly, but it is a steep climb. Driving on the entire island is a challenge but worth it and kind of fun! Thanks for the beach gear and cooking supplies. On site manager was awesome...

"Our room was clean and updated, property grounds well taken care off, pool area and bar clean and maintained. Great location, though not very walkable as it’s up on a really steep hill, so rental car or a cab is recommended. Also, there are lots of stairs, so It could be challenging for senior or disabled citizens, the only complaint we have about the hotel is how unfriendly the staff was, especially at the front desk and the person at the entrance of the hotel (? "Everyone was friendly and great. Could have used less volume at the downstairs pool, but the top pool was very nice. Food: breakfast choices were good, dinner was ok - it should have been better for the price - but there was a fantastic little shack/restaurant just around the cove a bit (sun&sea bar&grille) that I recommend highly. The combo was great. So, Margartiaville for room, top pool, workout room and cafe (iced coffee and bagels); sun&sea for bfast/dinner; Megan’s bay and brewer’s beach - left end for both - for nice beaches (Coki sucked). Swam with turtles at Brewer’s! Will do the whole lot again! Oh, also, rented a little Nissan versa - it was small and perfect for driving the skinny roads. I’ve owned jeeps for years - they’re too big for the island."
