"The room was cold so I didn't sleep well the first night. After everything warmed up the second night I rested well. Disappointed tub drain wouldn't hold water - no baths. Shower & linens were more than adequate. Breakfast was just ok. Food was not hot enough for my tastes. All staff were very friendly. Would visit again."

I found the hotel homelike, set in a woodsy spot with easy access to drive in and out to any destination. All the staff were great. The building is older which I liked; it was well maintained. The room furniture setup was not functionally optimal for me but might be for someone else. I don't think the alarm clocked worked, but everything else probably did. "We were a group of four friends staying in the area for a golf tournament. The property is so special! The sunsets, horses, chickens, flowers are simply spectacular. "Our booking was canceled and we were not notified in advance. We were 4 hours away from home, small town, middle of the night and no other hotels were available. I was up for 27 hours straight and had to drive back because nothing else was available. They said the hotel was overbooked and we should have been notified as they knew this days in advance. Very unhappy "
