"Had an issue this year with the right boat slip where it previously had a lift. On the right side it had a piece of metal that did significant damage to the boat, scratching and gouging the side. High water at the beginning of the week did not help and probably contributed to the problem.Strongly suggest removing the metal from the side of the dock and block off immediately."

Had everything we needed. I honestly do not know if there was a lakefront. We were on the move when we weren’t sleeping. "

"This place was perfect for our Shawnee National Forest Adventure. We were there early in the week so the local things we liked were not open. Great Value, but loses a star for dirty front windows, no dishwasher and no ceiling fans."

"We enjoyed this tiny house during our stay. It’s clean, dog-friendly with a fenced patio and within a 20-30 minute drive to the surrounding popular hiking and nature sight-seeing spots. The town itself is very small and you’ll need to drive a little ways for restaurants and groceries. The mercantile shop directly next door is very cute and a great spot to get coffee, Ice cream and local goods. Would recommend for a family of four (like us) or smaller. "

"Maeystown is a cute LITTLE town, and the house is well maintained. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was that the listing said there was a hot tub (which is why I booked the house since I was driving seven hours to get there), but there was no hot tub on site. I could see where it used to be, but it should really be removed from the listing."
