"We were very impressed with our stay. The house was decorated for the holidays and very clean with comfortable furniture and beds. I wish we could have stayed longer! We came in town to celebrate a family members graduation at SLU. The location was perfect and it was even the meeting place to join other family before going to dinner. "My best friend of 50 years and I spent four days at this lovely house. The hosts were wonderful; answered any questions we had very promptly. We are both in our 70s and the stairs were more of a challenge than I had anticipated from the pictures, but we managed. The house is lovely, the grounds are great and the fishing was awesome. We would definitely recommend this or a quiet getaway, especially if you like to fish."

"Our stay was wonderful. The house was clean, spacious, in a good area and perfect for my husband, myself and our other son. We could have had a few more guests. The picture on vrbo showed the house as is. We didn’t cook beside breakfast one morning and a pecan pie but the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Gary!"

"This is gem! Lots of room for multiple families and people. We were there for a wedding and it was the perfect spot for everyone to get ready. Bathrooms are great size and the extra amenities thru out the home are great. (Coffee, soap, shampoo, lotion, etc). Back porch and parking was perfect for all the guests. Highly recommend and will be back! "
