"So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house...

"Loved that this place was out in the country but only ten minutes from town. Saw a lot of deer. Very clean. Comfortable beds. A lot of dishes and utensils provided. Would definitely stay again"

"I really love how peaceful the house and the area are. Very beautiful views of Lake Egypt. I love also how close it is to a bigger city like Marion so you can go shopping at Walmart or even go to Carbondale for shopping. I also love how it’s close to a lot of different/beautiful trails. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We really didn’t want to leave and go back to reality. Must stay. "
