"We came for the bike race in Alto Pass and wanted a place instead of a hotel. I’m glad we found this area! It was close to a lot of places including Carbondale. Host left us goodies which our kids loved! Lots of linens and even had little soaps. Very thoughtful and great stay!!"

"I’m not one to leave reviews, but the Loft is the best experience we have had at any VRBO. All of our VRBO experiences have been excellent, but the vibe and atmosphere of the Loft make this the best and our most favorite experience to date. Hosts were communicative from the get go when weather was not favorable and provided information to keep our family safe before we arrived. "15 minutes from gateway center in Collinsville, IL. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful lake that is filled with fish, turtles, and ducks that our kids loved. We enjoyed the comfortable beds."

"I was traveling into town for work and this place was perfect. It was very clean, spacious, and accommodating. The location seemed to be very good as well, even though I didn’t have much time to check out the local scene. I will be traveling to the area regularly for work, and fully plan to stay here again!"

"My wife, daughter, and I stayed here for three nights. This place was perfect for us. We were pretty busy meeting with family and friends during the day so this place was a cozy and very comfortable place to relax and rest. It had great places around it to eat and have drinks. Definitely recommend. "

"Appreciate having fire wood available to make use of the fire pit. Good location, quiet, private and close to wineries and restaurants."

"This was a cozy spot to stay for the weekend, very clean and quaint. Would definitely stay again. Want to check out another property more embedded in nature through them next time but this one is located practically on SIUC campus and near everything you need. "

"This property was perfect for what I needed. The location is great whether you want to go into St. Louis (there’s a metro station pretty close) or stay around the Belleville/O’Fallon area. I’ll highly consider staying here again!"

"We arrived and the place was clean and decorated nicely. Very charming. We could hear the people in the next apartment so sound was somewhat of an issue. It was a bit chilly in the kitchen due to no mini split being only in the bedrooms. Kitchen was very nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, look no further! This cute home located right next to Shawnee National Forest was the perfect weekend getaway for us and our dogs. The house is back in the woods with over 8 acres to explore. And the stars at night were incredible! Everything was very clean and our host provided bottled water and had all the makings for coffee. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit!"

"Super sweet cabin with privacy and a hot tub. Very clean and well kept property. Spacious enough for 2 couples but cozy enough for just one. Very close to Star View. Cant wait to come back!"
