"We were only in for a night while waiting to go aboard a friends boat for the remainder of the week. It is a quaint hotel, built in 1880. The room was on the small side, the staff were pleasant. As we are early risers we would have preferred the breakfast to be served before 8am but when it was it was ok. "Douglas house is a unique property that is a series of older homes converted to rental suites. It has a lovely courtyard in the back of the property with a small pool, lounges and tables. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Room 1 was adequate, but toilet needs an upgrade and towels definitely could be thirstier.
