"I would give this hotel a much better review if it weren't for the musty smell in our room. I had read other reviews about it prior to our stay and hoped that we would get a room without the smell, but it didn't happen. Hotel is very clean and close to attractions like Sight and Sound Theater. Pool area was very large, but the first night there it was so humid and foggy in the pool area that we had to the leave due to eyes burning and coughing. "

"Lovely property! For a chain hotel, it has a very personal and local feel. Very friendly staff. Great spa. The outdoor firepit is a great touch! Very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good for a BW property. Our only negative about the property is the dinner dining. It was functional, but slow and with limited menu options. "This was our second time staying here. We totally enjoyed the scenery in spring and again, in winter. Surrounded by pines and a variety of mature trees with a beautiful pond, we enjoyed the privacy as well as the hot tub and wood cackling in the fireplace! The house is very comfortable with antique country style decor and finishes as well as the fully stocked kitchen and very comfy bed. Very clean and a genuine log home! We look forward to enjoying the house in fall! We highly recommend! "
