"We had a perfect Christmas holiday watching the otters play and feast down by the dock. We stayed cozy up in the loft watching movies. We were able to catch sea lions frolicking and harbour seals swimming by. Even though it was rainy we were still able to check out many parks and trails we haven’t been to before. I really liked that the house was down a long driveway and away from the road. We ended our evenings in the hot tub. Sooke is only about 30 minutes away which isn’t a far drive. Iron Mine Bay beach is up the road. It’s a short walk down the trail to the beach, which has quite the view!!! F you come in the summer I highly recommend taking a drive to Stoked Pizza. It is on the other side of Sooke but DEFINITELY worth the drive. A good place to picnic is at French Beach witch it a 2 minute drive from Stoked. We will be back for sure! "

"Fantastic one bedroom apartment with all the amenities. Very comfortable and quiet. Large patio overlooking Sooke inlet. A bouquet of garden flowers and a fresh baked loaf of bread greeted us on our arrival. The hosts paid attention to all the small details which included chocolates on the pillows. Definitely our favourite stay (out of six) on the island! "

"We couldn't have chosen a better stay for our 10th anniversary vacation. Upon walking in, the first thing you notice is how clean it is. You can tell the host takes great pride in their rental. We wanted for nothing. The kitchen is well appointed with everything from baking pans to cutting boards to measuring cups. The appliances were squeaky clean. If you like a dark bedroom to sleep in at night, this is the place for you. Luckily for us, the darker the better, so we were happy! The bed is very comfortable with clean and soft bedding, and the pillows were comfortable as well. We slept very well. The view was spectacular, the sunrises were astonishing. We were blessed with lovely weather for most of the time we were there, so each morning provided a new experience. Drinking coffee on the seawall while watching the sun rise over the mountains? What could be better? Finally - the bathroom. Oh that shower! After the first shower, I came out of the bathroom and told my husband I was leaving him for the shower, haha. Truly a spa-like experience. Again, very clean and tidy. The host provides a really nice blow dryer, hand soap, lots of shampoo/conditioner and shower gel so you don't even need to pack those. The host provided a little welcome basket with a card for our anniversary, very sweet. Sub - I know we said thank you countless times already, but THANK YOU again. We felt so at home in your rental unit, it really made our anniversary trip that much more wonderful. :) "

"The beautiful accommodations are exactly as advertised. Super clean and well stocked! The grounds are magical and the view spectacular! We were even visited by a family of deer one morning!
