"I have never stayed at a B&B, but I would definitely stay here again and again! In fact I have extended my stay another month! The owners, Ted and Lauren are such beautiful souls and their hospitality is simply outstanding! They are so accommodating and dedicated to ensuring that their guests have a wonderful experience! The view from the home of Mount Baker on a clear day is absolutely breathtaking And you would not get that staying in Victoria where the buildings would block your view. The breakfast that is provided every morning is delicious and lovingly prepared by Ted and Lauren. A walk down to the lagoon is close by and Hatley Castle as well. If you like nature there are trails close by as well. Public transit is not too bad if you do not have a vehicle to get into Victoria proper. The buses are pretty much on time and it will take you approximately 1 hour to get into town and even that trip can be somewhat scenic. So if you ever want to visit Vancouver Island, Colwood just outside of Victoria is not a bad alternative if you don't want to pay the high hotel rates during tourist season that Victoria demands."
