If you want to lose yourself in nature
Loved watching the humming birds. Great view. Should have brought some bikes though Proper location to get away from it all and yet less than an hour from Victoria in the car.

Memorable stay!
We spent 4 memorable days here with our 2 dogs and we had our ā€œelopementā€ marriage ceremony on the property! The cottage, property and location was perfect! Cheryl, our host, was one of our witnesses and made our day even more special, along with Doug. Memories and connections were made for a life time!

Great place for a relaxing getaway
Very cosy and comfortable cottage stay in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay, wish it could have been longer, and will make up for that in future by returning to stay again. Thank you again!

Absolutely beautiful area! Huge yard for a dog to play and a little private beach to watch sunsets šŸ˜€ The hosts are kind and helpful. We hope to return soon.

Ocean stay
Wonderful property on the ocean. Quiet, peaceful location. Lots of walks, salmon fishing and galloping goose bike riding. Plan to return for another vacation soon. Very accommodating hosts, breakfast treats were waiting when we checked in.

Excellent from the beginning
Lovely property and hosts! Everything was great and the attention to detail was phenomenal. From the welcome treats for humans and dogs to the pair of binocular that was left out for our use, everything was excellent and we could not be more pleased about our stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely, restful vacation (and a great change of scenery during the pandemic).
Super-cozy and very well-stocked. Lovely property with access to the water. So much to do and see in the Sooke area - definitely a place to return to again and again. Cheryl was so accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. Weā€™d love to come back.

Beautiful sunny spot
Our pups had a wonderful time running around in the yard and exploring the beach at low tide. There are many birds for bird watchers. We felt very rested and relaxed after our stay. A fine getaway.

East Sooke Gem
We so enjoyed our stay at Ann's Cottage. Being welcomed with homemade scones and preserves was a great way to start our holiday. The cottage is rustic but very comfortable and clean. Our hosts were very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be returning another time.

Comfortable, well-equipped, quiet waterfront cottage
Loved the location close to the many trails and habitats of East Sooke Park, Matheson Lake, Mt. Matheson, Sooke Potholes, Witty's Lagoon, etc. which were excellent for hiking, walking and birding. Cheryl, our host, was wonderful. We will definitely return.

We were delighted with our stay at Anne's Cottage. While we expected basic and quaint based on photos and reviews, we were delighted by the size, location and amenities. Beautiful touched like fresh flowers in the bedrooms, good wine glasses and a coffee grinder made the stay perfect. Interactions were helpful and friendly. The sunsets breathtaking. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Lovely stay
We had such a wonderful stay here, we saw otters, eagles, seals, plenty of hummingbirds and so much more wildlife. Our dogs loved the big yard and the beach area is essentially private so itā€™s fun to explore at low tide. The house is a little dated but is clean (thank you Wanda!) and has everything we needed for fresh seafood dinners. The fresh flowers, scones, and preserves are a nice homey touch as well. We canā€™t wait to return!
