"We called ahead to ask if we could check in early so we could change to go to a wedding. They weren’t able to get the room ready but did let us in before it had been cleaned so that we could change. The family room had 2 bedrooms and suited our needs really well, and would suit most families. The room decor was a little tired but clean and all in good working order. "Lovely old world hotel. Nice breakfast. The only fault was we were put in a room at top of the building, 4 landings and 36 stairs. Although elderly we managed but with some impaired mobility it wouldn't be good. Suggested to manager that they put a note on the site for this room booking. It was also a shared bathroom which was my fault for not reading it properly. "
