"If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh...

Our room had clearly been used by someone who had a dog with them previously. The rooms could do with a paint in places and there were some huge cobwebs on the ceiling. "The property was a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Mary was so nice and really looked after us. We were even given torches if we wanted to go out at night. A lovely breakfast and you could have as much as you want. I would recommend anyone to stay in this beautiful part of the world and this lovely place."

"Great hotel which allowed the dog. The walls by the window had marks from a previous water leak and there was no rubbish bin around hotel. I had a dog with me so ended up looking for a bin for ages, to dispose of the poop bag. Also smoke alarms are extremely sensitive. We were woken up at 5.45am by the fire alarm probably activated by someone having a shower."
