It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. Anything you interact with- modern showers, kitchen drawers, etc., has clear labels and the owner was quick to respond to a question about how to use something.
