"Centrally located next to the palace and shopping. Although the roads in that part of town are narrow and difficult to navigate, the on-site parking and close in location made it a perfect stop after a long day of travel. Would stay there again…maybe stay more than one night and explore Sintra more. "

"Warm, accommodating, comfortable, convenient. This chalet, its hosts and owners, are welcoming and so kind. We were there during the infamous power outage, and it felt as if we were with family. Also, the setting is magical, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is excellent for exploring. If we ever return to Sintra, a stay at Chalet Saudade is an absolute given. Oh! One more thing: The breakfast at the cafe was absolutely amazing."

"My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in April. We absolutely loved it. Room was amazing- lovely balcony, huge bathroom with gorgeous bath and every comfort you would need. Was very quiet and peaceful. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with loads of choice and all meals we had at the bar and restaurant were lovely. We will definitely be back with out kids!"

"Clean, quiet, spacious and pretty. It was difficult getting my carry-on up the skinny, winding stairs. I was scared.of falling up and down. Would have been nice if staff were there to help. "
