"Small boutique hotel, great central location, very close to metro station. We stayed in deluxe double room which was spacious and well equipped. Two downsides - overlooked Main Street which was noisy if window was open but impressively cut out the noise when window closed. However, I found the room too warm, even in February, and whilst there is air conditioning controls in the room, it didn't seem to work. So sleeping wasn't great for me. "A perfect location for a short city break. The hotel was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived on my birthday and because they check your passport when checking in, the receptionist noticed the date and then all the staff wished me a happy birthday. A few minutes after getting into our room, the same receptionist arrived with a birthday cake. It is little details like this that made our stay very special and I would definitely recommend this...

"The Be Poet is a very central hotel, close to sites, shopping and dining. The buffet breakfast was good. The toiletries provided included shampoo and body wash, cream and hand soap. The front desk hotel were very nice and always willing to assist with any question. A special shoutout to Ives who assisted us with directions and always had a smile on his face when answering our questions. Would definitely stay here again!!!"

"My stay was very pleasant. I got housekeeping every with fresh linen. The fitted sheet, pillow case and the duvet covers were changed everyday. The staff were courteous and friendly. They allowed me to check in early with no additional costs because they saw that I was tired from traveling for the last 24 hours. Room service was great. The bathroom and bedroom were cleaned to my standard. I would stay here again"

"So my wife and I have stayed in some great hotels in europe and I have to say, the attention to detail and knowledge of the staff in this hotel puts other hotels to shame. the staff went far and beyond. Excellent service, clean and quiet hotel. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. It was our first time in Portugal and thanks to this hotel, I can say we have a place to stay when we visit Lisbon next time."
