"We stayed over the thanksgiving long weekend. We prepared all our meals from the home. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The back patio was our favorite. It was too cold to stay out for a long time but it was so peaceful. We used the firepit as well to make s’mores. S’more sticks were available at the house. The 2 teenagers had their own rooms and a bathroom near them, and the master bedroom is located on the other side of the house which was nice, also away from the laundry room...

"We had a wonderful stay at Old Bear Creek. The home was clean and so much room. We enjoyed having multiple tables .. we played many games of dominos and other games. The pool was wonderful! Then at night we hung out on the patio and watched the Perseid meteor showers! We hope to return next year!"

"Perfect for our three generation family Christmas gathering. Large parking area. Bed locations fit us to a tee! Loved the bedroom fireplaces and watching the meandering stream through dining room windows. Went kayaking in the rain. Christine made special trip to bring us what was needed for making meringue pies. We had been told internet was limited; however, it was sufficient for karaoke in the location designated as best place in the house. Santa even found his way to this peaceful quaint...

"My elderly parents, sister and I celebrated my parents 72nd anniversary at this gorgeous property. Our mornings and afternoons spent having coffee on the deck while overlooking the river was so relaxing. As an added bonus we picked a perfect time of the year to stay as the Fall foliage was beautiful. Thank you Lori for being so attentive. Your quick responses to my every question was very much appreciated. We will definitely return! "

"Very cute house and really nice location. The property was beautiful and the surrounding cities and parks had lots of fun stuff to do. Everything was very clean and orderly when we arrived, the only problem I had was that the hair trap had been forgotten and the shower flooded out into the hall and into a neighboring bedroom in the few minutes it took for anyone to notice a problem. But Brian and Colleen were very helpful and had quick responses via text with offers of sending their cleaners out...

"Outstanding property, just what we were looking for. Located on scenic bend in Ouachita River which includes still water as well as a gravel shoal that changes to a stretch of rapids. Far bank is a high undeveloped bluff and gives a scenic view and sense of remoteness. The ground was covered in snow and made a postcard scene. We plan to return when the weather warms and experience a different season. Stayed 3 nights."

"Amazing little cabin near a creek and crystal mining. Loved the country charm of the cabin and the host was very informative of the area. Clean cabin with a quick little hiking area to Twin Creek which has lots of rocks and trout. Was surprised to see how clear it was with that peaceful running sound of water over the rocks through the creek. Perfect little setup with this cabin. The cabin does include an outdoor are with a grill, fire pit and hammocks! Perfect for a couple getaway or a small...
