"This is an adorable, small business motel. The room was perfect for our needs and the garden area to clean rockhound finds was ideal! I would suggest bringing a small coffee maker if you’re not keen on instant coffee or you aren’t a tea person. My friend had to get his coffee fix at the restaurants in town because he’s a snob about instant coffee (haha). I loved the little touches of consideration for room amenities (popcorn, tea setup, cold water in the fridge, etc.). Would make this my go-to for Mt. Ida if they allowed my pup to stay also, but I know there are many pet owners who might not clean up after their doggos very well. Thank you for the lovely accommodations!"

"This lovely rental was just what I needed. The house itself was very cute and welcoming, but what really stood out to me were the surrounding pine trees, the wonderful hammocks, and the nice little trail out back to the creek. I sat outside at night to watch the stars. Was grateful the owners of the property had shared info about the nearby Lake Ouachita hiking trails and mountain vista views. Great all around stay!"

"My husband and I stayed here for a few days during October. This was our first visit to Arkansas. Magnolia Cottage was a perfect place to stay for 2 people. The cottage has pretty much everything we needed. The kitchen is equipped with what is needed to prepare basic meals and we used the charcoal grill outside the cottage. We appreciated that it was located in a quiet, wooded area on Lake Ouachita which is a less populated lake away from the busyness of Hot Springs. It is an easy drive from the cottage to area attractions near Hot Springs. There is a great trailhead down the road that we hiked for a couple hours. Garvan Woodland Gardens is a must see. We did the trolley car ride in Hot Springs which gave us some great information about the area and the history of the city. We are native Minnesotans and are now living in Texas. We wanted to find something that reminded us of our cabin in northern Minnesota and this did not disappoint. The lakes in this area are beautiful! We definitely would return here."

"I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Dogwood Cottage at the Brady Mountain Resort. I stayed there 5 nights for a getaway vacation and the cottage and surrounding area did not disappoint. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. Dogwood cottage was the perfect size and setup for me and the staff supplied it very well with everything I would need. I cooked each meal and ate there, slept in the comfortable bed, and lounged outside on the porch or camp area. Brady mountain has beautiful scenery and awesome trails. The vista/overlook is a sight to see. Next time I will come later in Oct or early Nov when the leaves have changed more. I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend it. "
