"I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo. It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk. "Value for money. Easy walk from Ueno exit. It’s abit of a walk from the gate but it’s easy to drag to luggage over to the exit and to the hostel. Bed and pillow is too hard for my liking but I stay only 1 night here so it’s fine. Bring your own towel! They charge a small amount for the towel. "

"The staff were very friendly. I like the little café and eating area. The room and bathroom were clean. They have 2 washer/dryers which were convenient for traveling. The nearest subway station is about a 15 minute walk. There were plenty of local stores and restaurants within walking distance. Also, there's paid parking right in front of the hostel. "Located near Kuramae Subway Station. Easy Acess from and to Haneda or Narita Airport. Property was just as described, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the lighting inside; it was a bit dark for him. Shared bathroom area was decent. A full sized mirror behind the door inside the room would be a nice touch. Ear plugs were provided as the sound proof was poor. You could hear conversation in the hallway. For budget travelers, this hostel serves its purpose. "
