"Lulworth Cove can be very busy during the daytime, but when the doctors have left it is a peaceful haven and this girl makes the most of it. With a view out to sea we found this to be a relaxing been of a place with a very reasonably priced simple breakfast offering. It is in bed of some tlc (the carpet on the stairs springs to mind), but otherwise a great place to stay."

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay here for 3 days, we had no issues at all. The location is very central to Frome, so we didn't have to walk far to get to the places we wanted to visit. I read in other reviews that the car park is small and difficult to park in, so we parked in other carparks near. The service from the staff was definitely a highlight - Wayne is fantastic! in the evening, he was very friendly and had a great sense of humour. We felt very welcome. The staff who were working in the morning were also very nice and accommodating, although we didn't catch their names. The room was good and both breakfasts and dinners were also very good, and had decent menus. Considering the price, we feel that the George Inn is difficult to beat and exceeded all expectations "

"Location: Hotel is sited close to the Cathedral and the heart of the city. The only major drawback for some might be the lack of a car park although this did not affect me as I arrived by bus with a bus stop just a few yards away from the hotel. Room: My room although a little dark was well equipped and very quiet. The bathroom has rather dated with a deep bath and a shower that had to be hand held with no shower screen or curtain. Overall the room was very comfortable and I certainly had a good night’s sleep. Food/Drink: There is the offer of a very basic and limited continental breakfast or a good range of cooked breakfasts if you prefer. The hotel has an excellent range of craft beers and serves a range of evening meals. Staff: Very welcoming and helpful. Overall: If Wells is your destination I would certainly recommend staying here.
