"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. "The place is under new management who offered a warm welcome, a clean room, done up the place as best they could. "Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....

"My partner and I stayed for a long weekend. I arrived first to check in. Debs was there to greet me and dealt with a last minute request to upgrade my room amazingly. Check-in was quick with clear and easy instructions given. Room 3 was gorgeous! So spacious with plenty of storage for clothing and luggage. There was a handy fridge, table to eat at and a gorgeous balcony. I run warm so it was amazing to be able to open a door and windows. There's a huge TV with Sky channels and a sofa to watch...

"This is not a hotel. its more of a doss house. Paid for 2 nights. went to the moxy instead which is just another level compared to this. Yes its cheap, but the whole area feels unsafe, and you wouldnt want to leave your car here."

"A warm welcome when I arrived. Despite being on the main road into Torquay, it was very quiet within the b&b promising a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good and set me up for the day. For an evening meal , there were a good selection of restaurants within 15 minutes walk."

"The property is clean and well maintained there are a significant amount of steps to get to it (I counted 62 in all) but the views at the top are worth it. One word of warning though, I found out to my dismay that there was no network coverage at the property so you can't access the email containing your key code to get in the property when you arrive so make a note of it beforehand. I didn't and had to walk back down all those steps to the main car park to get reception and access the email...
