"I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

"A great base for taking in the surrounding area. The Shed has everything you need and is beautifully and comfortably decorated. A highlight was the walk to the Tyndall Monument and climbing to the top...the views were amazing"

"The property is conveniently located for Southmead Hospital, less than 10 mins walk. Generally clean. The front door lock is tricky and could do with being replaced. Kitchen is small but functional, oven and fridge could do with good clean. Cloakroom and washing machine, had a leak could not be used, handyman time keeping not great. Heating on all the time, day and night. Plant room quite noisy. Host good at responding to messages. "

"This is a great property well located to explore the forest of Dean. Plenty of space for two. Bedroom and living area are huge, loads of storage space. We only spent a couple of nights but would work as a Long term let. 2 pubs in short walking distance, 12 mins to a medium sized Tesco"

"We both really enjoyed our 3 day stay. Large cottage with some real character. Good location, not too far out of the way. Nice wood burner and conservatory. Very private. Huge AGA stove, dishwasher, everything you need. Excellent welcome pack.Would stay again."

"Spent a wonderful week staying in this house. Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. Arriving to the most comprehensive "welcome pack" we have ever encountered we have no hesitation in recommending this property. 10 out of 10"

"Absolutely stunning location. Don't have to drive any where to walk the dogs, so many walks just on the doorstep. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bathroom has the best shower ever experienced. The back garden is very dog friendly, even our jack Russell puppy couldn't escape. Though our dog's presence kept setting off the owner's dog's ( they live adjacent to the property) so was a bit worried we were disturbing them when their dog's heard us walking around, which would get their dog's barking....

Before arrival, the owners were super efficient with communication, providing detailed information about the property and responding to questions on the same day.
