"We arrived at 8 in the morning because of an early flight and expected to just leave our baggage. In fact they let us have our room early which was fantastic. I’m sure the rooms at the back are great but the river room we had has such a spectacular view that it was worth paying the extra."

"The hotel location is good. 5mins on foot from Haizhu Square MRT exit F. Walkable to Beijing Lu and Yide Lu where you can find cheap dried food and snack. There is massage on level 7 which the price is reasonable. But the staff at the concierge are not friendly and helpful except Ben and Tony. The 2 gentlemen were willing to help us to solve our problem when we encountered issues in the room. "

"It is 1930s historical magistic building. It keeps its magnificant period look and inside fitted with adequte modern furnishing, air conditioning and clean bedding and room. For $60 a night, that is a steal. I was originally expecting $120-to 14o a night. Good value. Highly recommended."
