"Great hotel if you want to stay in a castle it is kept to a good standard considering it is a castle , the staff are more than helpful and are all wanting to please you , we had evening meal which was very good which we both enjoyed, we are on a gluten free diet and it was no problem at all for them, the breakfast the next day was also really good , the grounds are also very nice to walk around and explore, we both enjoyed staying here thanks to all the hard working staff we most likely will return "

"Staff were very helpful. Receptionist let us swap rooms when allocated room was right next to lift & I was worried I wouldn’t sleep because of noise. One of the housekeeping staff ran my partner to the wedding venue we had been at the day before when he was unable to get a taxi "

"A beautiful hotel with charm and original fittings. Staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was on the small side for a double, however this was not a problem as we just slept in there and spent all day out and about enjoying the sites and shopping. On our last night we took advantage of a meal in the resturant in the hotel. Wow just wow, the meal was out of this world!!! Definitely hats off to the chef, that has got to be the best steak i have ever tasted. We would certainly stay and eat here again on the very near future! "
