"This property is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. An ideal base to explore Porto. Our host was extraordinarily helpful - including finding a doctor to write a script my wife needed. Mornings next to the pool looking over the Douro with fresh fruit from adjacent trees - doesn’t get much better!"

"This property is great and our host was outstanding. We were here for three nights. Our host greeted us with wine, cheese and fruit. He gave us a quick tour of the area pointing out restaurants, grocery store and bakery. He gave us a history of the property and offered suggestions for dining and sightseeing in Porto. "A lovely apartment hotel near to the market and public transport. A lot of great local bars and restaurants very nearby. I would not hesitate to stay again. Up to you if you want the breakfast, it’s fairly basic and there are such nice cafes and bakeries near by you could pop out for fresh pastry and the like easily every morning. "
