"So many things to love about the GA Palace Hotel. The room and bed was really comfortable with a large bathroom (double sinks), great restaurant, day spa and pool. We were only there for two nights, however, choose to eat meals all meals at the hotel restaurant or use room service, apart from the lunch we had in the Douro Valley. "

"Everything was wonderful except that it did mot feel like there was much recognition of VIP status. No bottles of wine were offered or room upgrade. We had to argue for the room we orginally paid for and also we were downgraded for the end of our stay.
