"This is a beautiful, peaceful property. We enjoyed the huge rooms, gorgeous dining room, and decent gym. "Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Large property with extensive gardens, providing everything you could want on holiday. Content to sit by the window and watch the boats going up and down the river, very relaxing. Lovely pool, although sadly unable to use it because of the weather. Tiago was very helpful and responded immediately to any queries. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"Staff on site from 8am to 23hish, which covers most check in hours. They have another hotel building just steps away in case you have any other needs at other hours. The room was spacious, spotless and newly furnished. Kitchen was essentially fully equipped. No washer/dryer in the unit but that depends on your needs. Twins beds were comfortable. "The staff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast offering was good, as well. Our room was nice and very clean. This hotel’s location is close to a lot on venues: shopping, restaurants/bars, coffee shops, historic sites. It’s also a very walkable location to all."
