Limehouse basin is a picturesque setting, with easy public transportation access to all of the main events of the city. Extremely quiet and original place to stay. "On first impression, the Matrix is beautiful. It has lovely gathering spaces and is in a gorgeous setting in the marina. It was peaceful and relaxing EXCEPT there was no hot water for 3 out of 5 days of our stay and no one available to fix the issue over the weekend. The only means of communication was via email and sometimes it would be hours before we received a response. "This is a fun place to stay in so much as my room had a massive outside area, the bed was great and I could look out over the water to watch the fun of Canary Wharf Its very very basic. I had no shower gel etc in the shower, the toilet is a marine toilet, no water offered (or available) so needed me to visit a local shop. Its near all the bars so quite noisy. I'd stay there again but not for that price. Its too expensive for what it is. "
