"Short walk to the beachfront and Sea Point's excellent salt-water pool. Good parking - which is very useful in Sea Point. Near food shops such as Chequers. Secure building. Apartment had a little garden / patio where we had supper in the open air on several occasions."

"I would definitely recommend The Bantry to others traveling to Cape Town. The property is located in an area where it is safe to walk after dark and there are plenty of food options within a few blocks. The hotel is also one block from the beach walk and the tour buses stop a half block from the hotel. Our hotel room was spacious and we had a great view of the ocean. The staff was very accomodating. I would recommend the bar staying open a bit later; it closed between 7:00 and 8:00 every night."

"We stayed for 9 nights for a working holiday. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in any part of the world. From the minute we stepped foot into the hotel the service was outstanding. The place is immaculate and the amenities phenomenal. We ate at the hotel several times and the food was excellent. The area is safe and has lots of lovely restaurants nearby. One of the highlights was sitting at Harvey’s Bar watching the sun go down with other guests and local capetonians."
