"There were 6 of us staying in the VRBO. For the bed space and bathroom set up, it was comfortable. We visited in rainy, chilly January. The building is old so we often found it was colder inside the house than it was outside. We were able to heat up the space using the provided space heaters but ultimately requested extra blankets. "Everything what we expected. Shared garden with a beautiful view. Right in the middle of the old city. Walking distance to the historic city centre. Definitely would recommend this apartment. Although, having only one toilet, it would have been nice to have an extra toilet for the six of us. "

"Not so Good: The photo of the exterior of the building is very misleading. It is NOT new and shiny like it appears in the photo. However, the rest of the photos are accurate. It is small! A 2-burner hotplate, tiny refrigerator and just a few dishes. The layout of the apartment is inconvenient. The spiral staircase to get to the bedroom and the bathroom, and then a ladder to get to the washer/dryer were a hassle. "Fantastic property, lots of character in the building but the apartments are well furnished with modern bathrooms and spacious. Great location on the edge of the historic centre and 3 minutes from the famous bridge. Staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious each morning with a good selection plus freshly baked cakes each day. This place is a real gem and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Porto."

"Our room at My Ribeira Guest House was the perfect stay for a couple of days in Porto. It was very cozy, yet hip. The provided turntable was a very nice extra touch. We listened to Fado and old Disco while the light rain splattered outside. We had everything closeby at a walking distance; the river and bridge, the old town, shops and restaurants. The staff also pointed us in the direction of the neighborood of Aforada, where we ate incredible seafood in a small-town setting. Highly recommended. "

"Fantastic property, lots of character in the building but the apartments are well furnished with modern bathrooms and spacious. "This hotel is amazing! We stayed here for 3 nights and the staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. The main building itself is gorgeous and had such charm. We ended up staying in the apartments building which is a short walk from the main building, so be aware of that when booking. That building also has stair only, so should be aware of that with accessibility. But we loved everything about the place and couldn’t recommend it more. The location was also PERFECT for exploring the best Porto has to offer."
