"From the outset our communication with the property owner was excellent. Mariana went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and to cater for my husband’s dietary requirements. The property is absolutely delightful and is in an excellent location for all the sights that Porto has on offer. The attention to detail is exemplary and the care and attention given to the daily breakfasts was fantastic."

"Great location and easy to get around. The units are very nicely renovated and quite nice. Up and down the alley are nice little places for dinner and a glass of wine. The night time sounds from the alley were very loud around midnight. Twice during our stay someone entered the property through the front door, which was protected with an impressive iron lock system and a digital key code. Also, the back door had been opened one night but a safety bar prevented entry. "

"The location is convenient, but the dirtiness and rudeness of the staff doesn't make it worthy. Everything is filthy, mold and dust, and stains in bed covers (new ones,not cleaned). It is not cheap and in my opinion it's not worth it. It is one of the filthiest places I've ever been and I am use to travel all around the world.I wouldn't recommend it. "

"Very difficult to find, Orbitz phone number wrong and not staffed 24 hours. Impossible to park without a garage and good luck finding the garage. Street it is on has a couple of "clubs" not a place for kids."

The check in was good, but just note that you need to go to the main hotel across the road, and get a code to open the apartments. Slightly hard to find, but once we got there it was smooth! "

"Fantastic property, lots of character in the building but the apartments are well furnished with modern bathrooms and spacious. Great location on the edge of the historic centre and 3 minutes from the famous bridge. Staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious each morning with a good selection plus freshly baked cakes each day. This place is a real gem and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Porto."

"Our room at My Ribeira Guest House was the perfect stay for a couple of days in Porto. It was very cozy, yet hip. The provided turntable was a very nice extra touch. We listened to Fado and old Disco while the light rain splattered outside. We had everything closeby at a walking distance; the river and bridge, the old town, shops and restaurants. The staff also pointed us in the direction of the neighborood of Aforada, where we ate incredible seafood in a small-town setting. Highly recommended. "
