"The hotel is modern and clean with a large bar / restaurant overlooking the racecourse. Rooms are a decent size and nicely furnished, with a huge walk in shower. We also had a racecourse view which was great. Breakfast was excellent, it's a buffet but with a decent range of good quality hot and cold options. Staff were all very friendly. Only disappointment is that there is an additional charge for parking of £5 per day, would have expected this to be free. "

"Took my wife for a weekend away for her birthday and stayed in one of the spa rooms. It was amazing. The spa bat has huge and having a personal sauna in the room was great. We took advantage of spa treatments which were so relaxing. Food and dining where great and staff were exceptionally nice and professional. "I found my stay at The Elms to be very pleasant and convenient. I stayed in The Stables just around the corner from the main hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of teas and coffees. The shower was decent. I enjoyed a good night's sleep. I also had dinner at the Indian Restaurant within the hotel. If I am in the area again, I will have no hesitation in staying there again"
