I did find it very hot in room but i waa staying on an extremely hot day it was a little uncomfortable howevver the staff did so all they could to help "

"Stayed with wife & daughter, room spacious with 2 comfortable double beds & decent size bathroom. Didn’t use the spa so can’t comment, bar area was comfy with a terrace if you want to sit outside. Breakfast was lovely, lots on offer. Parking was easy, right next to the hotel. Discovered a bar/restaurant right on the quays below hotel which was lovely too"

"For the price we paid I was happy with the room. The hotel could do with a bit of a makeover as our room ceiling looked like it had measles and there were scuffs on the walls, however everything in the room worked as it should. I was a little surprised that the TV wasn't a smart one and the room didn't have a safe, but these wouldn't have deterred me from booking. I must compliment the staff at reception and bar/lounge area who were all very cheerful and helpful and the 50 kwh eV charge point (only 1) was useful. I would recommend they add more of these looking at the number of ev vehicles in the car park. Overall I would definitely stay in the hotel again as we found it comfortable and welcoming. "

"The hotel is modern and clean with a large bar / restaurant overlooking the racecourse. Rooms are a decent size and nicely furnished, with a huge walk in shower. We also had a racecourse view which was great. Breakfast was excellent, it's a buffet but with a decent range of good quality hot and cold options. Staff were all very friendly. Only disappointment is that there is an additional charge for parking of £5 per day, would have expected this to be free. "
