"I enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay at Eddlewood Guest House. Very clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Host Peter was exceptionally helpful, courteous and informative. Breakfast was perfect and there was a wonderful choice. Location is very convenient for all amenities and for using as a base for any visit to Lerwick and indeed mainland Shetland and the islands."

"Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts. They provided tourist information for the surrounding area sites, restaurants and shopping. Our room had everything we would possibly need and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was amazing and fuelled our hike up The Old Man of Storr in rain, 50mph winds and sideways hail. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed...
