Group of ladies, so the privacy was perfect, although closest shop was a 10 min drive, we had everything we needed. "

"We travelled up from Devon (myself & husband) and London (sons & partners), and after a long, challenging journey we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and comfortable base for our stay. The location was perfect for meeting up with family for a meal at the Oaksmere hotel (5 min walk), for attending the wedding in Eye (2km away) and the reception in Upper Oakley (also 2km away). "We stayed here in early December for my partner's birthday. The main reasons for booking Red House Barns were the location (not too far from Aldeburgh and Southwold) and the hot tubs, and we were not disappointed on either of these fronts. Christmas is a great time to go as you have the Christmas shop on site and a small stall that sells coffees, bacon rolls, etc. which was really useful. "The property was just so cosy and had loads of character. The outside views were amazing! Had lovely company to enjoy it all."

"This house was perfect for two families to stay in for the week. The garden is enormous so plenty of room for kids to run off their energy. The house itself was comfortable and clean. The location is relatively remote being accessed down single track lanes, which meant it was very peaceful, but still only 10 minutes from a shop. We were still generally within 30 minutes of the places we wanted to visit. The Indian takeaway in Poringland was excellent too!"
