"Great resort but a bit older style and window is single pane so cold air still seeps thru the hobby and hallway area. Some of the ceiling and walls are cracking and stains. The resort has family friendly things to do like ping pong and arcade area. The hot spa was pretty good. Breakfast is a great experience. Overall, good experience. "

"I want to start off by saying I had a nice visit, I did the half board option and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. "Extremely convenient place to stay. If you're a JR Pass User like me, This is hands down, the place to stay. It's literally in front of Nagano Station, what could be more convenient than that? There's especially so much to see around here that you definitely can make great use of your JR Pass while staying here. I also recommend the Katsu Restaurant in the 3rd floor of the station, it's to die for. Had a great time!"
