"Property is about 10 mins walk from the Bus station and Hotel does not provide shuttle to and fro, hence it is inconvenient to pull fhe luggage during winter time to the hotel. The back door of the hotel helps for quick access to the Yubate. Morning and Dinner buffet offer a very good spread but there is no need to book half board for more than 1 night as menus are largely the same. "

"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. "This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here. "

Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. "Very close to Nagano Station which was convenient for travel to & from Nagano. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was clean with excellent shower but my family of 4 were squeezed into a twin bed room, so minimal room to put luggage & beds are small.
