"The property is a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Funchal, in the Santo Antonio area. We really liked this as it felt like being in a very normal suburban area, even if this area did bring the world Ronaldo! If you are looking to incorporate a visit to his childhood club or the small pitch where his house once stood, then you could barely be better situated. There's an excellent mini market just down the street and the bus service makes getting in and out of town cheap and easy. The...

"The house is beautiful. The pool area is an amazing place to take in the views, sunsets and relax. The directions and accompanying literature provided by the host are very informative and answered all of our questions about using the house amenities. Highly recommend taking advantage of the bakery delivery truck that drives past every morning at ~9:15. There is a nespresso machine and drip/filter coffee maker for caffeine needs. If we’re ever back in Madeira, we will hope to stay here again....

"We really enjoyed our stay! The house has an amazing view, is big, and very clean - everything was perfect. Marcia was also very nice, and communication was super easy via WhatsApp. She provided us with a lot of information beforehand to give us the exact location and recommend good restaurants in the area. Much appreciated and highly recommended! My advice is to not forget shampoo or anything you need, as there is no shop within walking distance"

"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Madeira und in unserer Wohnung, die sehr angenehm war. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten sehr viel Platz. Auch zu viert wäre es unproblematisch gewesen, da alle Räume insgesamt sehr groß sind. Vieleicht wäre dafür noch eine Couch oder ein weiterer Sessel gut. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gut. Alles ist so wie es beschrieben ist. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. "

"The house was new and very clean. Garden around the house was lovely. Sunset views were amazing. Jorge was nice and very responsive. We had issue with unpleasant smell in bathrooms on rainy and windy days ( due to air pressure). Parking was not next to the house and sometimes unavailable so we had to park on a street below. "

"We had a good week. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering stay, sunny patio. comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. There is a little convenience store next door and a full range of shops about 1 km up the hill. The nearest resturants seemed to be about 3 km away so not walking distance and the traffic was a little busy but then it is everywhere in Funchal. The owner was very friendly did everything he could to make us welcome even though he did not have much English."

"If you’re looking for a modern feel Villa, with a stunning view of Funchal and the coast, and a very nice pool, you just fund it! We were 4 friends who travelled to Madeira for the first time to film and photograph the island and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. The drive up there is a little tricky, as the road is very steep and with sharp turns, but very worth it. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this house. It is massive with room for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having room to run around outside and were thrilled with the trampoline and pool table. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit chilly during our stay in early May, but the kids still took a dip. The hot tub was lovely. The view was the best part. Absolutely stunning view of the ocean. "A nice villa great for a group of friends staying on a hiking trip. Pool is lovely, and when heated is great (you might have to insist that it’s on - we had agreed 26 but when we arrived found the controller, and it was on 19 so wasn’t warm for a few days). Also there seems to be an issue with ants but nothing drastic. "

"The house is much like the description. It is equipped with modern appliances. House & property is well maintained. Pool area is very nice. Plenty of room to park 3 small cars, if needed, with security entry gate for the driveway. Located in quiet neighborhood. Close to local towns with restaurants and activities. About 30 minute drive from Funchal. And again, beautiful views from several areas of the house."

"we stayed for 9 days in the apartment and it was perfectly suited for what we needed. Very close to the old town area along with restaurants, shops, etc.. visited soccer practice nightly and there was a very nice café/bar on the corner."

"Luxurious hotel right next to the town centre with lots of amenities all around the area. Hotel restaurants are fantastic. The ones just outside the hotel are not so good. Terico is especially poor quality. Fantastic views from the rooms with sea view. Would love to return again"

"Beautiful property located in a great area walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We booked the Premier Suite which was lovely and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking Funchal. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The grounds of the hotel are also lovely. Would definitely stay here again."
