"Everything was great. My room was clean and quite big. Bed was very comfortable. Service was excellent. They acoomodated me for a really late check in as my plane got delayed. Breakfast was really good and the grounds around the hotel were a beautiful garden."

"A great 3 night stay. We loved the location - super views but very easy to walk into the town to explore! We were able to park our car on site too which was a real bonus. Our room was clean comfortable and we had a lovely view of the port. We enjoyed the pool and terrace on our last day. One suggestion and that's for more information to be given on the Spa facilities. We thought they were great but sadly only found out about them at the very end of our stay. I have to mention the breakfast buffet. It was amazing. So much choice, catering for all tastes with great staff too If we returned to Funchal we would definitely stay here. "
