"Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The raging river so close to our balcony was impressive after a few days of heavy rain. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised. "

Sara was a pleasure to deal with, offering to help us with things to do, places to eat, etc. The laundry service was efficient and fairly priced. Parking was easy and safe. "It was a very unique and pretty property but was adjacent to the caretakers, whose outside property was not kept picked up. The inside of the studio apartment was neat and tidy but not impeccably clean. Great views of the Arenal Volcano and the place had beautiful flowers and landscaping. You have to drive up a very long and rocky drive to get there- no problem in a SUV 4x4 though. They provided coffee and towels, some toiletries, but there were no washcloths provided. "Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."

"Suwa Villa Arenal is one of the best places at which I have stayed! We had four guests and stayed for four nights in mid-March. Beautiful rooms with an outdoor patio and chairs, and A/C.
